PHỞ BÒ (Vietnamese Beef Noodle)


Happy Women’s Day!
Needless to expensive and famous restaurants, right at your small kitchen, you can cook and prepare a delicious meal for your wife and your chilren in a special day like this. It is not difficult to cook, men!
RECIPE
Ingredients:
-         1 kilogram rice noodle
-         2 kilogram beef bones
-         500 gram lean beef sirloin, fat trimmed
-         5 star anise pods, 1 cinnamon stick, fresh bean sprouts, basil
-         1 ginger, scallions, fresh cilantro, cardamom
-         1 large onion
-         Fish sauce, spices
Directions:
            Step 1:
-         Wash and clean the beef bones with little salt and wine

-         Turn on the oven at a temperature of about 250 degrees for 5 minutes, washed bones to bake about 10 minutes. This will help you eliminate smell of beef bones.

Step 2:
-         Put beef bones to a large pot with water over high heat. Keep stewing beef at least 2 hours. Poke the meat all over with a fork to tenderize it and season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, you can also soft boiled beef (if you want), then scoop out the meat, slice.

-         Grill ginger, cardamom, onion and star anise, then clean them.

-         Add all the grilled ingredients above to the pot and cook at least 1 hour more and then season with spices.

Step 3:
-         Peel onion, wash and slice.

-         Chop basil and scallions.

Step 4:
-         Parboil the noodles and then devide among 4 bowls, top with the broth, beef, scallions, cilantro, bean sprouts  and onion.

-         Enjoy your delicious beef noodle, certainly more taste and cleaner than the outside restaurant.
