Purple Yam Soup


      Purple yam is so buttery and sweet potato (Spud), hamburger or beef burger with green onions, pepper, especially, the individual flavour of cilantro and rice paddy herb – Ngò ôm (Only available at Vietnamese grocer).




       Ingredients

·         50g hamburger
·         150g purple yam
·         100g sweet potato
·         2 braches of rice paddy herb
·         2 branches of cilantro
·         Green onions
·         Fried onions
·         Wedge nuts
·         Pepper
·         Available spices for soup

      Instructions

1.      Break  and chop first green onions after that mix it with hamburger, ¼ m pepper, ¼ Wedge nuts then make them into any shapes to eat easily. Use spoon to grate into marbles. Cut sweet potatos into small cubes and cut cilantro, rice paddy herb.
2.      Boil 1l water in a large pot, firstly cook hamburger to make water be more sweet about 5 munites and then add purlble yam with medium heat, finally have a taste and add 3tsp wedge nuts.when purble yam is near ripe, add sweet potatos, cook about few munites. Turn off the heat and add 1m fried onions, cilantro, rice paddy herb.
3.      Transfer to a bowl and garnish with some pepper and use it with rice for your main meal.
