LET’S TRY “PHO CHAM” (DIP PHO), “BUN SUON” (RIB VERMICELLI SOUP)

If you have a date, and still wondering for the dinner, my van than (wonton noodle soup), pho cham (dip pho), or bun suon (rib vermicelli soup) is an ideal choice.

Pho cham Ba Trieu
Pho cham is a new fusion from the traditional dish, including shredded chicken thigh, lemon leaves. Pho is in a whole bunch, not poached, cut into short pieces about 5cm, placed on a plate. This will be served with a small bowl of soy sauce, some pieces of chili and lemon.

Not only attracting with the secret recipe of a strange dish, the store at Ba Trieu also has really comfortable space. At the rush hour, it’s really crowded because of the variety of dishes such as mixed vermicelli, bun thang, pho cham, chicken sticky rice, fry rice, pho ngan, pho ga…

My van than Hang Chieu
Despite of being not a traditional dish from Ha city, my van thang (wonton noodle soup) is still a favorite dish of many people here. A bowl of noodle soup is really flavorful and delicious.
The ingredients are bbq pork, egg and wonton, fry wonton, mushroom, liver, fry pork skin, and chives. All blending with the broth from pork bone, shrimp and chicken bone.
The noodle is made of flour and egg, then thinly laminated; therefore it’s sticky and remains the yellow. Wonton is seasoned with a secret recipe, really tasty and fragrant.

The store opens from 6h-23h every day. A bowl of noodle is 40,000d.

Bun suon chua Xa Dan
With only familiar ingredients such as broth, tomato, doc mung (giant-elephant-ear), pineapple, rib, pork paste…, the dish is still so flavorful.
The bonus point of this dish is the rib is cooked in sour soup way. Thus, when you have the vermicelli bowl, you will feel the rib is not fat but juicy. You can eat this with “quay”.
